EVELYN IOLENE MOUNT DOUGLAS
(July 14, 1931 - October 25, 2014)

EVELYN IOLENE MOUNT DOUGLAS, 83, of Ona, W.Va., went to her Heavenly home Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was born July 14, 1931, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Alva Edward Mount and Lillie Lee Miller Mount. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, a granddaughter Sara Bryanne Coleman, and her brother Anthony Edward Mount. She graduated from Huntington East High School. She was an active member of Second Guyandotte Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member since she was 11. She was an assistant manager of Sears. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Charles M. Douglas; two daughters and sons-in-law Theresa and Tim Coleman and Debra and Gregory Hesson; four grandchildren Joshua Michael Coleman, Benjamin Douglas Coleman, Jeremy Chad Hesson and his wife Summer, and Leeann Jane Hesson; two great grandchildren Gabriel and Gavin Hesson; and one step grandson Haydn Bowen; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank her caregivers Jenny Carter and Candi Meadows, and Hospice of Huntington for all of their care and support.
