ELLEN E. (BLAIR) THOMPSON

ELLEN E. (BLAIR) THOMPSON, 70, of Culloden, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was the co-owner of Thompson Engine Repair and member of Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Ellen will be sadly missed by her devoted husband of 51 years, Gary Thompson, daughter, Deborah Sweeney and granddaughter, Olivia. Additional survivors include a sister, Barbara Plybon (James) of Lumberport and brothers, Clarence "Duke" Blair (Sharon), William Blair (Janet), sisters-in-law, Mildred Burton (Farris), Phyllis Stewart and Bernice Bays (Carlos), a host of nieces, nephews, friends and three foster sisters, Linda Adkins (Ronnie), Margaret Rice and Kathy Thompson (Stan). Ellen also leaves behind a very special cousin, Ividene Honaker. She was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Blair, brother, Roy Blair, brother-in-law, Okey E. Thompson and in-laws, the late, Okey and Hazel Thompson. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Gordon Rutherford at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
