Lindsey Danielle Clagg, born March 20, 1985, passed away on December 8, 2015, at age 30. Lindsey was a shopper, philosopher, horse enthusiast, feline fanatic, Zumba-lover, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and cousin. She was a member of Cabell-Wayne Association of the Blind, a graduate of Cabell Midland High School, and a psychology student at Marshall University. Lindsey aspired to be a psychologist with a focus on addiction recovery and support. She had a strong desire to help others find emotional and mental peace, having struggled with her own recovery. She lovingly helped in the care of her elderly grandfather and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, her cats, and her mini-horse. Lindsey is survived by her father and mother, Terry and Sherry Clagg of Ona, and their daughter, Chelsea of Winchester, VA , as well as her Thornville, OH families: Aunt Donna Taylor-Walters and cousins, Ashlee and Sarah, her Uncle Mark Taylor, his wife Julie, and their son, Alex. She is also survived by her Uncle Barry Taylor of Thornville, his wife Haley, and their daughter, Sydney. On her father’s side, Lindsey is survived by her Aunt Cathy Thacker and daughter Tina, as well as Uncle Rick Clagg and family. She is also survived by her Great Uncles, Alvie and Ivan Clagg and their families, of Milton. She will be remembered lovingly by her other close friends and family. Services will be held at Wallace Funeral Home in Milton, WV at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015, by Minister Joe Bentley Jr. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Cabell-Wayne Association of the Blind, 38 Washington Avenue, Huntington, WV 25701.
