Jack Cline Handley
(February 3, 1935 - October 22, 2016)



Jack Cline Handley, 81, of Culloden, WV, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born February 3, 1935 in Culloden, WV. He was a son of the late Earl Handley and Grace White Handley. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Handley. He retired from Otis Elevator Company after 39 years of service. He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Jane Tyree Handley; two daughters, Gloria Sponseller of Hurricane, WV and Treva Davis and her husband Mark of Huntington, WV; two brothers, Earl D. Handley and his wife Doris of Zephryhills, FL and Carl Handley and his wife Uldine of Hurricane, WV; two sisters, Frances Adams of Mount Pleasant, SC and Barbara Chaney of Culloden, WV; three grandchildren, Dwain Sponseller and his wife Mandy of Parkersburg, WV, Taylor Sponseller Alexander and her husband Jimmy of Great Falls, Montana, and Skylar Davis of Huntington, WV; two great-grandchildren, James David Alexander IV and Oliviana Mary Grace Alexander of Great Falls, Montana; a very special friend, Ed Coleman of Miller, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was an avid woodworker and loved to work on clocks. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, Milton, WV. He will be missed by all of his friends at Union Baptist Church and his neighbors in Culloden and Westmoreland of Huntington. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Rick Watson, Pastor Brent Beckett, and Pastor Tracy Mills. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
