Tammy Jo Harbour
(September 18, 1963 - October 19, 2016)



Tammy Jo Harbour, 53, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was born September 18, 1963 in Cabell County, a daughter of Ronald and Peggy Rigney. Tammy graduated from Milton High School in 1981, and graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in 1984. Tammy worked as a PACU-Nurse at Thomas Memorial Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center and Three Gables Surgery Center, where she helped touch and heal lives for thirty-two years. Tammy was a member of The Guyandotte Church of Christ since she was a little girl where she helped spread the word of God. Tammy was also an avid West Virginia Mountaineer fan where she enjoyed supporting the team with her family. Tammy always loved being surrounded by her friends and family who will miss her very much. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Chester and Catherine Rigney and maternal grandparents, John Lewis and Eunice Virginia Young. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Gerald A. Harbour; two daughters, Emily Harbour and Allyson Harbour; two sisters, Sherry Kline and her husband Gary and Tricia Bailey and her husband Brian and a host of other family and friends. The family would like to give a special Thank you to Kathy Mundstock, Amy Roam, Kim McComas and Misty Cooper. We would also like to thank the nurses on the 4th and 6th floors at St. Mary’s Medical Center. We would like to also thank Dr. Bir, Dr. Silbermins and Vicky. Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Minister Willie Purdee and Minister Bob Huron. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be sent to the American Cancer Society, 611 7th Avenue, Suite 101, Huntington, WV 25701 or the Guyandotte Church of Christ, 207 Staunton Street, Huntington, WV 25702.
