Waonda Virginia Buzzard
(February 20, 1920 - April 30, 2011)

Waonda Virginia Buzzard, 91, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 30, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, WV by Rev. Donnie Butcher. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dale, WV. She was born February 20, 1920 in Canada Station, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Edgar and Icie McDonald Chapman. She was Auxillary member of Gideons International, and a member of Highlawn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Sherman Buzzard and two brothers, Denzil and Harry Chapman, and a foster daughter, Tonia Conley Harris. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Clinton and Cleo Buzzard of Memphis, TN and Charles and Betty Buzzard of Barboursville, WV; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Memorial contributions may be made to Cabell-Lincoln Gideons, Box 21, Ona, WV 25545.
