James Roy Lycans, Jr.
(October 12, 1946 - March 21 2014

James Roy Lycans Jr., 68, of Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Barboursville, passed away February 21, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 12, 1946, in Cabell County, a son of the late James Roy Lycans Sr. and Beulah Adkins Lycans. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Harold Dean Lycans. He is survived by two sons, Brian Lycans (Dawn) and Aaron Lycans; one daughter Gina Lycans (Jerry Hill); one sister, Linda Martin (Johnny); one brother, Glenn Lycans; six grandchildren, Eric Maynard (Jennifer), Todd Maynard (Stephanie), Randy Maynard (Jennifer), Karen Moore (Tommy), Tori Lycans and Layne Hall; five great grandchildren and one on the way and several nieces and nephews. His passions in life was golfing, hunting, fishing and cooking for his family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Esquire Country Club.
