Dorcas J. Sanford

Dorcas J. Sanford, 92, of Barboursville, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Todd Godby. Burial will be private. She was born March 2, 1922 in Barboursville, a daughter of the late O.C. and Ruby Nash Davidson. She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Sanford and one son, Robert Sanford, two brothers, Gus Davidson and Clifford Davidson, Jr., and one sister, Lois Shull. She was a member of Barboursville Baptist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Diane Sanford of Huntington; and one grandchild, Jason B. Sanford and his wife, Michelle of St. Petersburg, Fl. Visitation will be after 12:00 pm Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
