Obituary

Brian A. Tapp
(October 30, - September 2, 2018)

Brian A. Tapp, 59, of Huntington, WV, passed away after a long illness September 2, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born October 30, 1958, in Wayne, Michigan, a son of the late Lawrence and Edna Barnes Tapp. Also preceding him in death his sister, Sandra Kukich. Before his illness he was employed by Commercial Optical. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Candy Gillispie Tapp; son, Brian Tapp Jr.; one brother, Michael (Martha) Tapp; two nephews, Mike and Jason Tapp; in laws, Dencil and Faye Spurlock; several extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Ray Vance. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery, Branchland, WV.
