Lora Gay Porter
(December 13, 1956 - October 22, 2022)



Lora Gay Porter, 65, of Branchland, WV, went to be home with her Mommy and Daddy Saturday, October 22, 2022, at St. Mary’s Medical center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in the Eaves Cemetery. She was born on December 13, 1956, in Cabell County, the daughter of the late Okley and Arlene Eaves. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Randy Eaves, Stevie Eaves and Roger Eaves. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Kenneth E. Porter. She had four sons Kenneth Porter Jr. (Mary Ann), Darrell Porter (Melissa), Okley Porter, and Cody Porter (Rebekah). She is also survived by two sisters Polly Gray and Marquetta Braden and two brothers Paul Eaves (Tincy) and Zenas Eaves. She had 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also had several nieces and nephews and a lot of wonderful friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
