Rosalee Hobbs, 85, of Lesage, WV., died Sunday February 8, 2009 at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday February 10, 2009 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum, Barboursville with Pastor Gordon Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow. Rosalee was born July 13, 1923 in Quick, WV. a daughter of the late Harrison & Blodwen Workman. She was a Christian and a member of the Cox Landing United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers & sisters. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, A.W. "Woody" Hobbs, children Harry Hobbs & wife Paulette of Ona, Barbara VanMeter & husband Potsy of Lesage, 5 grandchildren; Tim VanMeter & wife Sharon, Erik "Pooh" VanMeter & wife Kerri all of Lesage, Misty Clay of Milton, Angie Hobbs of Columbus, OH. & Jeff Hobbs & wife Magan of Barboursville, 6 great-grandchildren; Michele, Dakotah & Justin VanMeter all of Lesage, Caleb Hobbs of Ashton, WV, Dominick & Logan Crank of Barboursville, special nieces; Barbara Richardson, Sandra White, Carol Runyan & Lynn Cox and several nephews. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday February 9, 2009.
