Linda Gail Cremeans Kirby
March 2, 1950 - February 9, 2009



Linda Gail Cremeans Kirby, 58, of Huntington, WV, went to be home with her Lord and Savior, after a courageous battle with cancer, and was passionate with raising funds for the fight against Breast Cancer. After fighting two different battles with breast cancer, she lost her final battle with lung cancer, Monday, February 9, 2009, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Terry Holley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Linda was born March 2, 1950 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Allen J. and Helen S. Carpenter Cremeans. She was a beautician and owner at An Added Touch Beauty Salon in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Survivors include: a daughter, Courtney Bell of Barboursville, WV; two sons, Scott Allen Kirby and his wife, Trish, of Barboursville and Jason Kirby and his fianc'e, Margie Stewart, of Huntington; thirteen grandchildren, Allen B., Alayna, and Alyson Gail Kirby, Melissa Hall and her husband, Josh, Nichole Little, MaKayla, MaKenzee, and Mytchell Bell, Jacob Mason and Alivia Kirby, and Ashlee, Trenton, and Bailey Stewart; a great grandson, Jayce Allen Kirby; a sister, Vickie Lynn Adkins of Huntington; three brothers and sisters-in-law, O.A. "Rusty" and Cathy Cremeans of Ashland, KY, Ronald and Edwa Cremeans of Ona, WV, and Kelly and Kimie Cremeans of Huntington; an aunt, Anna Jean Havens of Huntington; two nieces, two nephews, a host of other family members; many special friends, and her many close friends and coworkers at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary. In lieu of floral tributes, please assist with the fight against breast cancer, with a donation to the American Cancer Society.
