Bonnie Jane Barrett

Bonnie Jane Barrett, 69, of Huntington, wife of William L. Barrett, passed away Tuesday January 3, 2012 at Madison Park, Huntington. She was born March 18, 1942 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late C.W. “Buck” Mathes and Ida Mae Cornwell Mathes. A son, Gregory L. Barrett and a grandson, Chadwick Barrett, also preceded Bonnie in death. She was a homemaker, an avid bowler, and a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Jeffrey Barrett of Proctorville, OH; two grandchildren, Tonya Dean and her husband, Stacy Dean of Proctorville, and Shane Allen Barrett of Milton, WV; and two great grandchildren, Beileigh Cheyenne Dean and Brayden Dwayne Chadwick Dean, both of Proctorville. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday January 6, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Dr. David B. Lemming, and Pastor Bill Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit after 12:30 PM Friday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
