Helene Catherine Robertson, 69, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday January 21, 2012 at Cross Roads United Methodist Church, Huntington, with Pastor David Cartwright and Rev. Bill DeMoss officiating. She was born January 13, 1943 in Hillside, NJ. Helene was an outstanding wife and mother while being a great role model in her Christian Faith. She was a guiding light for many people showing how to persevere through daily pain. She asked that donations be made in her name to Cross Roads United Methodist Church at 3146 Saltwell Rd. Huntington, WV 25705, of which she was a faithful member and very involved with the choir, bells, and praise band. She was also a Cub Scout leader of Cross Roads Pack 25 for several years. Survivors include her husband Don Robertson; three daughters, Lynnette Caswell, Jana Parker, and Charlotte Shockley; two sons, Terry Smith and Thomas Smith; four stepchildren, D-Anna Johnson, Kristina Willbanks, Patti Wick, and Joe Robertson; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends may visit one hour before services at the church .
