Carroll Wesley Floyd
(April 16, 1936 - March 28, 2015)



Carroll Wesley Floyd, 78, of Proctorville, OH, died Saturday March 28, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Carroll was born April 16, 1936 in Scottown, OH, a son of the late Clyde & Nevada Ransbottom Floyd and stepmother, Mary Floyd of Wellston, OH. He was a retired union representative from the United Steelworkers of America, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Proctorville Eastern Star and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Childers. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Floyd, one son, Butch Floyd & wife Debby of Acworth, GA, one daughter, Tammi Zehr & husband Joe of Ft. Wayne, IN, two step-daughters, Cheri Ratliff of Ashland, KY & Dwana Chandler of Huntington, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brothers & sisters, Joan Davis, Elmer “Johnny” Floyd, Clyde “Buck” Floyd, Elizabeth South & Arnold Floyd. Keeping with Mr. Floyds wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
