Anna Louise Jarvis, 81, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 20, 1935 in Lincoln County, WV a daughter of the late Albert Joseph and Hattie Mae Fry Gill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Lynn Jarvis; a sister, Mary Elizabeth McClure; and four brothers, Raymond Gill, Charles Gill, Thomas Gill, and Harold Gill. She was a member of Guyandotte United Methodist Church. Survivors include: a daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Jarvis of Huntington; a son, Ronnie Jarvis, Jr. of Huntington; three grandchildren, Jack (Amber) Chapman of Milton, and Charles Chapman and Shawna Leigh Hatten, both of Huntington; five great grandchildren, Matthew Chapman , Isabella Chapman, Jaxon Chapman and Kruze Chapman, all of Milton, and Zaxton Chapman of Boone County, WV; the father of her children, Ron (Barbara) Jarvis, Sr.; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Mark McClure. Graveside services will be conducted 12:30 pm Friday at Gill Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV with Pastor Mike Chapman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to noon Friday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. The procession will leave the funeral home at noon.
