Gene C. Grose, 80, of Glenwood, WV, died Sunday May 7, 2017 at The Village at Riverview, Barboursville, WV. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday May10, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Ray Scarberry officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. Gene was born January 8, 1937 in Ona, WV a son of the late Clarence and Martha Adams Grose. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired from A.C.F. Industries and was a member of the Beulah Ann Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary K. Grose, one brother and one sister. Survivors include a nephew, Mike and Wendy Grose, and son, Chris of Glenwood, a niece, Tomi and Phil Weber and children, Matt and Catherine of Huntington, nephew Walter and Carolyn Meadows and children, Kimberly and Michelle, and niece Juanita and Walter Wise, and children, Tina, Yvonne, Cheryl and Cassandra all of Milton. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
