Carol Faye Husk, 70, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born April 26, 1947 in Matewan, WV a daughter of Dorothy West Wood of Huntington and the late Frank A. Wood. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dale Husk. She was a member of New Baptist Church, Huntington. In addition to her mother, survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Larry Dale and Darlene Husk of Culloden, WV; a grandson, Seth Andrew Husk of Culloden; and an aunt, Sylvia Bailey of Pikeville, KY. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
