Dorothy Sharon Tomlin, 67, of Huntington, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Hopemount State Hospital, Terra Alta, WV. She was born June 11, 1949 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late Emory and Martha Goolsby Adkins. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Leist; sister, Linda Sue Hoover; and a brother, Michael Adkins. She was a homemaker, a former member of Second Presbyterian Church and a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her former legal guardian, Mike Wilson of Huntington; two granddaughters, Kayla Leist and Sarah Leist of Huntington; a grandson, Jacob Leist of Huntington; and a brother, Marshall Adkins of Huntington. The family wishes to have a private graveside service at Earls Cemetery, and a memorial service will be conducted 7:00 pm Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Highlawn Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rick Wilson officiating.
