Obituary

ESTHER MARIE HONAKER, 79, of Culloden, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2004, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Minister W.R. Bud Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Esther was born May 13, 1924, a daughter of the late James Edward and Eliza McCallister Nicholas. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Mark Honaker; one grandson, Robert Cotler; six sisters and one brother. Esther was a member of the Milton Church of Christ. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Toney and Patty Honaker of Milton, David and Rosemary Honaker, Gregory Pat and Bonnie Honaker; one daughter, Sharon Cotler all of Millville, N.J.; and one brother, Halley Nicholas of Milton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, David Honaker Jr., Darren Honaker, Jason Honaker, Sheila Adams, Mark Cotler, Shelly Ayers and Aaron Honaker, all of Millville, N.J., Jessica Honaker, Joshua Honaker and James Williamson, all of Milton; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Freddie, Devyn, Hunter and Cassidy. The family would like to give a special thanks to Norah Meadows, Anna Wilson, Leroy Shelton and Treva Adkins, who helped cared for mom in the last years of her life. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
