Obituary

IVAN E. "Pete" CALL, 83, of Milton, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2005 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Wendell Shull officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum, Milton. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion, Post 139, Milton. He was born February 26, 1922, in Hurricane, W.Va., a son of the late Pearl and May Call. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by three children, daughter Brenda and son-in-law, Lonnie Lee Shull; son, Bud and daughter-in-law, Sharon Kay Shull Call; daughter, Linda and son-in-law, Glen Johnson all of Milton; six sisters, Launa Davis of Culloden, Burnlene Handley of Hurricane, Pauline Rowe and Dillie Taylor both of Huntington, Ernestine Rice of Georgia, W.Va., and Eldora Clark of Pt. Pleasant, W.Va.;one brother, Ernest Clay Call of Hurricane, W.Va.; thirteen grandchildren and their spouses, Scottie and Annette, Randy, Jamie and Ginny, Kristy and Donald, Terry and Alaine, Tracy and Tanya, Angie and Jason, Ricky, Brenda, Martha, Glenna and John, Debbie and Billy, and Glen, Jr.; 24 great-grandchildren; companion, Shirley Call; and a host of friends. Special thanks to his granddaughter, Virginia (Ginny) Shull who was his caretaker. He will be sadly missed and always remembered.
