Obituary

Leonard Wallace, 77, of Milton, went home to be with his Lord, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at his residences.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Vernon Wallace officiating.  Burial will follow in ForestMemorial Park, Milton.  Leonard was born December 12, 1929, in CabellCounty, a son of the late Culvy Ivan Sr. and Alberta Villars Wallace.  He is also preceded in death by four brothers, Gene, Herman, Ivan and Vernon; one sister, Roberta.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was also a member of UnionBaptistChurch.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mercy George Wallace; two sons, Anthony Wallace and Joseph Wallace and his wife, Lisa; one daughter, Debbie Elkins; eight grandchildren, Christina Wyatt (Bill), Heather Graves (Brian), Jodi Cole (Barry), Chris Wallace, Brooke Wallace, Joshua Bennington (Ashley), Branden Elkins and Tesha Scarbro (Aaron); eleven great grandchildren, Dakotah, Tristen, Zachary, Alisha, Rheanna, Benjamin, Chayenne, Brie, Josh Jr., Keristen and Katiland; five sister, Louise, Shirley, Maxine, Reva and Karla; five brothers, Leon, Carlyle, Edsel, Robert and Larry.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
