Myla S. Fleming, 87, of Barboursville, WV, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at The Wyngate Senior Living Community. She formerly lived in Burnt House, Ritchie County, West Virginia where she and her husband, John C. Fleming, raised their six children.  She was born June 19,1930, in Grantsville, West Virginia to Miles Wellington and Rosa Lee Mahaney Stump. Myla was a devoted wife and homemaker. She also worked from home as a Notary Public and as an accountant for a local oil and gas company. She was an avid reader, a superb cook, and a talented seamstress.   In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, John C. Fleming; three sisters; Lillian Eberly, Mildred Kerby, and Wauneta Waters; and one brother, William Austin Stump.  Myla is survived by two sons; Robert C. (wife Frances) Fleming of Olney, MD and William C. Fleming of Colorado Springs, CO; four daughters; Sandra L. (husband Larry) Hoff of Springfield, OH, Linda J. Fleming of Goodyear, AZ, Myla Elizabeth (husband Charles) Barber of Piedmont, SC and Tamara J. (husband Kevin) Cogar of Barboursville, WV; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Road Barboursville, at 11:00 am, with Mr. William Fleming officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at the mortuary. Graveside services will take place at 3:30 pm that afternoon at Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville, Calhoun County, West Virginia. For those unable to attend the funeral services, they are invited to join the family for the graveside service.
