Mary Rose Hawthorne, 89 of Huntington, WV passed away, Friday, May 4, 2018 in the Wyngate Senior Living Community, Barboursville, WV. She was born February 21, 1929 in Louisa, KY, the daughter of the late, Henry and Minerva See Cox. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Larry Lee Hawthorne of Huntington, WV; daughter, Cynthia Patterson of Cross Junction, VA; two sons, David (Veselina) Hawthorne of Sofia, Bulgaria and Timothy Neil (Cynthia) Hawthorne of Morgantown, WV; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Rd. Barboursville, WV. Funeral services will follow the visitation and will be private at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV.
