CHARLES RICK "RICKEY" THOMPSON, 55, of Huntington, W.Va., beloved son, husband, and father, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Joe Hill. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Rickey was born on April 24, 1960, in Huntington, W.Va., the son of Hattie Marie Stiltner Thompson and the late Charles Cletus Thompson. Rickey was co-owner of Thompson Auto and an avid Cincinnati Reds and WVU fan. In addition to his mother, Rickey is survived by his wife Lisa Hutchinson Thompson of Huntington, W.Va., daughter, Amanda Kay Thompson of Huntington; sons and daughters-in-law Nathan and Amber Carter of Morgantown, W.Va., and Mikey and Kaylee Stewart of Huntington; five grandchildren. Michael Bowman, Andrew and Dillon Hopkins, Haylee and Tyler Carter, all of Huntington; Aunt and Uncle Joyce and Charley Wallace; and a special great nephew, Monty Lambert of Huntington. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
