Kendall Raymond Hooser, 72, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Huntington VA Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday at the Pentecostal Truth Ministries, Huntington, by Pastors Janet Mounts, Tim Porter and Bob Rose. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born December 3, 1944 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Teddy and Alice Hill Hooser. He was a retired employee of Sehon Foods of Huntington and he was a Sunday School Superintendent for the Pentecostal Truth Ministries. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by brothers Jesse Hooser, Leon Hooser and Leroy Hooser and sister Mary Marie Lewis. Survivors include his wife of 42 years Mary Ellen Maynard Hooser; two sons and daughters in law Randall and Nancy Hooser of Charleston, WV and Brian K. and Beth Hooser of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters and a son in law Teresa and Ronnie Lyons of Huntington and Julie Ann Hooser and fiancé Joe Thacker of Huntington; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one niece. Friends may call from 3 to 5 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home.
