Obituary



Brian Lee Skeens, 39 of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord and his granny on Friday April 14, 2017 as a result of a motorcycle accident.  Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 1:00pm at Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church by Pastor Jody Fortner and Pastor Bob Fowler. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.  Brian was born on January 25, 1978 in Huntington WV the son of Jerry Skeens and Karen Adkins Skeens.  Brian was a tow operator for River Cities Towing.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Mildred Adkins and paternal grandparents Monroe and Shirley Skeens.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter: Breanna Leigh Hogsett (Cody), two grandsons: Tayten Lee Hogsett and Jakoby Malone, step mother: Susan Skeens, two brothers: Jason Lee Skeens (Tiffany) and Nathan Ray Skeens and one sister: Rylee Kaden Skeens and his maternal grandfather: Robert G. Adkins ; father-in-law Chuck(Beverly) Marshall, and father- in- law Tom (Andre) Martin; sisters-in-law: Krissye (Mitch) Kerns, Shannon Rubin, Heather Pressler, and brother-in-law Mathew Marshall. In addition, the following nieces and nephews: Jacob Lee Skeens, Cassie Hunt, Alec, Seth, Jarred, Zach, Jaden, Ethan, Landon, Ryelee, Kymber, Autumn, Kylea and the love of his life: Mary Skeens.  Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
