Obituary

Mary Lou (Bonene) Cline 69, of Huntington is resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord. She left this earth on Jan. 26, 2017 while under the care of the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House angels. She was born March 29, 1947 in Fairmont, WV, the middle child of Elizabeth (Betty) Hood Bonene and Louis William Bonene (both deceased). She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Joseph Cline and one brother, Thomas Bonene and is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daryl L. Cline, her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Lynn (Cline) Brown and Michael L. Brown, a sister Susan Kay Reece , and four loving grandsons who were the light of her life: Evan, Connor, Cooper and Brady Brown. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and special friends whom she cherished greatly. Mary spent the bulk of her life selflessly caring for her disabled son and found both strength and solace in the hearts of her spiritual family at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church which she attended faithfully for many years. Her laughter and bright smile and easy conversation brought joy to everyone she encountered, and Mary will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know her. The ravages of cancer are no longer a hindrance to her earthly body and she is enjoying a raucous reunion with all those who passed before her in Heaven. Visitation will take place at 4 – 6 p.m. Sunday Jan. 29th at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington. The funeral liturgy will be conducted on Monday, Jan 30th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church by Father Dean Bormeyer. Interment will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
