Obituary



Judy Kay Bloss, 68, of Lavalette, loving wife and Nana passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 12:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Minster Philip Scott. Burial will follow at Bloss Cemetery, Lavalette, WV. Judy was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ at Garretts Creek Road for over 40 years. She was born on June 2, 1948 in Cabell County, WV, the daughter of the late Raymond and Lula Davis Hale. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Thomas “Tom” Bloss; children and spouses Michelle and Wyn Baker and Gregg and Jennifer Bloss; four grandchildren Bethany and Drew Baker and Gracie and Braden Bloss all of Lavalette; brother and sister in law Raymond Hale Jr. and Connie Hale; sisters and brothers in law Janet and Bob Chiera, Joann and Larry Booth all of Wayne and Sue and Don Leslie of Prichard; special sister-in-law Loretta Bloss Smith of Lavalette and one brother in law Gordon Bloss of Lavalette. A special thank you to Dr. Kevin Yingling and Laura Talbert for years of compassionate care. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Reger Funeral Home.
