Elsie Mae Ferguson Perkey, 92, of Westmoreland went to be with her Lord and Savior May 27, 2017. Services 2 PM Wednesday at Reger Funeral Chapel. Reverend Tom Nolan and Reverend William Wilson will be conducting the service. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born June 13,1924 in Wayne County, West Virginia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She worked tirelessly in her beloved community and church where she was a lifelong member. Interests included sports, fishing, bowling, cooking, gardening, history, reading and walking. She was a loyal supporter of Marshall University and Vinson High School and worked over sixty years in Wayne County elections. She was preceded in death by L.E. Perkey, her husband of 49 years. Survived by her son, Sam (Pam), daughters Lynne and Cristy, grandchildren Natalie (Dave), Adelle (Nicky), Josh (Angie), Zach (Kristie), Stacey and Matt (Michelle). Great grandchildren are Lake, Dawson, Shelby, Jackson, Tyler, Samantha and Hailey.  Serving as pallbearers: Scott Mellert, Chris Mellert, Butch Adkins, Maury Hartz, Bobby Lee Wiles and Tim Dillon. Visitation is 12:00 to 2 PM Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to Little Victories Animal Rescue or Hospice.
