Wetzel Lee Leslie, 82, of Huntington, passed away Thursday May 4, 2017 at the Heritage Center and is now in Heaven with the Lord. Memorial services will be conducted at 1 pm Sunday, May 7th, at the First Huntington Christian Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Maynard. He was born July 19, 1935 in Guyandotte, WV, a son of the late William and Dora Aldridge Leslie. He was a retired manager for Wells Fargo and Loomis. He was a member of the First Huntington Christian Baptist Church. He was also a US Army Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Edward Leslie. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Diann Leslie; a brother in law James Rodney Bostic and a brother and sister in law James and Loretta Leslie; nieces and nephews include James Rodney Bostic, II, Matthew Bostic, Briona Bostic, Wendy Menslage, Angie Pinkerman, Toni Leslie, Paul Leslie, Todd Leslie, Kaleigh Bostic, Zach Bostic, Xavier Keeney, Jessica Bostic, Alexander Wetzel Bostic and Felix Keeney; special friends include Amanda Bostic, Amanda Keeney, Larry, Lionel, Cheryl and Betty and extended family, friends and Heritage Center employees. Donations will be accepted by Diann Leslie in lieu of flowers. Wetzel donated his body to Marshall University.
