Billy Joe Thompson,91, of Huntington, WV passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at River's Bend Health Care Center.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel by James Wolfe- Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will follow at Rome Proctorville Cemetery.  Billy Joe was born on August 30, 1926 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Roy and Thelma Crawford Thompson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Ramona Stanley Thompson, son Alan Thompson and seven brothers and sisters.  He was a truck driver for Stanley Produce and a veteran of the US Army.  He is survived by his daughter and son in law: Rebecca "Becky" and John Warf of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren: Preston and Melanie Thompson of Huntington, WV, Halli and Chris Chesser of Portland, OR., and Taylor Warf of Las Vegas, NV.
