Obituary



Ralph Pratt, 95, of Huntington, passed away Saturday February 10, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday at Grace Gospel Church by Pastor Keith Wiebe and Dr. Keith Wiebe. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born November 27, 1922 in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late Fred and Grace Hampton Pratt. Ralph was a retired employee of INCO Alloys International and he was a member of the US Navy having served during WWII. He was a member of Grace Gospel Church where he was a deacon, an usher, a Sunday School teacher and participated in the visitation ministry. In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Lilly Rose Pratt; brothers Fred “Dude” Pratt, Jr., Donald Pratt, Pete Pratt and identical twin brothers Billy and Bobby Pratt and two sisters Bertha Gibson and Racine Emery. Survivors include his son and daughter in law Sam D. and Linda Kay Pratt of Huntington; daughter and son in law Pamela A. and Michael Kelly of Wheelersburg, Ohio; grandchildren Shellie Renee Smith (Andy), Don Allen Pratt (Angie), Kenneth Kelly (Angie), Scott Kelly, Mark Kelly (Jill); great grandchildren Zach, Nici, Miranda, Andrew Smith, Brooke Pratt, Erica, Mason, Tasha, Luke, Libby, Will, Brandon, Warren Kelly; four sisters Dorothy Ross, Betty Hollis and Jennie Cremeans all of WV and Patty King of Texas and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
