Obituary



Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Kelli Holstein Watts, 50 of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 8th, 2018. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Mary’s Medical Center for all their kindness and care. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Kelli was born July 24, 1967 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of Robert Holstein and the late Donna Holstein. She was also preceded in death by grandparents Fred and Juanita Holstein, Hursten and Gaie Swiney, sisters in law Brenda Kay Rice and Debbie Watts, uncles David Holstein, Eddie Holstein and Dale Holstein and aunts Peggy Soler and Sandra Holstein. She graduated from Ripley High in 1985. She made her life first raising her son and recently with the raising of her nieces. She is survived by loving husband Chuck Watts of Huntington; son David Watts (Julia) of Huntington; sister Stacy Detamore (Chris Simon) of Proctorville, Ohio; brother Jason Holstein of Florida; niece Niki Rice of Huntington; nephew Andrew Christopher of Huntington; two special nieces Lexi and Payton Detamore of Proctorville; in laws Charles and Faye Watts of Huntington; step mother Joyce Perry of Cross Lanes, WV and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends. Kelli was known to all as a sweet soul who was always a rock and ray of light and laughter. She will be greatly missed by all but mostly her family whom she made her purpose. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
