Obituary

ALMA WALKER
(November 28, 1929 - April 8, 2014)



ALMA WALKER, 84, of Huntington, West Virginia went to be with the Lord, April 8, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend A.J. Perry on Friday, April 11, at 2 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. She was born November 28, 1929, in Wayne County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late James and Lydia Hammond Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers; seven sons, Walter Joe, Danny, Roger Dale, Bussy, Rodney, Ronald and Larry Glen; two daughters, Brenda Burkindine and Kathy Adkins. She is survived by two brothers and one sister; one son, Don Perry (Betty); two daughters, Helen Phillips and Betty Anderson (Benny). She was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She also had several nieces and nephews. Alma is deeply loved and her memory will be in our hearts forever. Rest in the arms of Jesus, Mom.
