(December 21, 1939 - July 11, 2014)


LAWANNA JEAN ADKINS BACHA, 74, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Morrison Cemetery, Barboursville. She was born December 21, 1939 in Huntington. She is preceded in death by her first husband CW2 Clifton G. Adkins Sr., her father Scott (Clara) Ross, brother Lowell (Bo) Ferguson; niece and nephew Darlene and Brian Adkins. Survivors include her husband Joseph Bacha; her mother Locie (Ancil) Adkins; siblings include Brenda (Howard) Adkins, Oweta (Walt) Scarberry, Deborah (Greg) Drown, Tammy (Bobby) Ferguson, Kimberly (Scott) Adkins, Charlie (Rita) Ferguson, Donnie Ross, Terry (Shelly) Ross; children include Jeffrey (Joan Wiegleb) Adkins, Clifton (Kim) Adkins Jr., Teresa (Keith) Corn, Jennifer Sluhocky, Lisa (Scott) Ezzo, Melissa (Larry Brown) Adkins; grandchildren, Robert Adkins, Nicole Adkins, Andrew (Michele Jackson), Aaron (Alexa Chrysochoos) Adkins, Valerie Hammond, Rachel (James) Hammond, Justin (Jen Whittemore) Corn, Jason Corn, Christopher (Sarah) Adkins, Michaela Gates, Trae Gates, Lydia Gates, Codie Nigh, and Alex Adkins; niece and nephew, Stephanie Adkins Stanfield and Kevin Adkins. Lawanna also leaves behind numerous other nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
