JUANITA RIMMER "NITA" JEFFREY
(June 4, 1933 - June 29, 2015)



JUANITA "NITA" RIMMER JEFFREY, 82, of Barboursville, W.Va., died Monday, June 29, 2015. She was born June 4, 1933, in Milton, W.Va., to the late Roy A. and Edith Johnson Rimmer. She was preceded in death by her husband Stacey E. Jeffrey on January 6, 2015, a grandson Christopher Michael Jeffrey, her three brothers, Albert (Laura Marie) of Ona, W.Va., C. Robert Rimmer of Huntington, and Harry Rimmer of Barboursville and one sister, Joyce Ann McCormick (Scott) of Milton, W.Va. She is survived by one son, Jim and a loving daughter-in-law Terry; three grandchildren, J. Shane, Nicholas (Jamie) and Kara Jeffrey of Barboursville, and two beautiful great-granddaughters, Marlo and Camille Jeffrey. Nita is also survived by three sisters, her twin Juanema Warden of Barboursville, Mary Jane Rimmer of Barboursville and Ruth Lewis of Huntington, and a sister-in-law Lois Collins Rimmer. Also surviving are nieces Ann Rimmer Guinn, Las Vegas, Nev., Debbie Warden Muncy and Becky Warden Damron of Barboursville, Kim McCormick Layman of Kenova and Jamie Kiser Chuparkoff of Florence, Ky. Nita also has nephews Steve and Rod Warden of Barboursville, Scott Alan Rimmer of Ironton, Bobby McCormick of Milton; a little friend Riley Pennington and a very caring relative Marcia Warden. She also had numerous Rimmer and Johnson cousins she loved and cherished. Everyone will always remember Nita with her curiosity and humorous personality, a wonderful (especially chocolate fudge) cook, and her love for mowing the lawn/raking leaves. She has always been loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with the Rev. Ralph Sager officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Flowers are welcome or contributions to Hospice of Huntington, 1101 6th Ave., Huntington, WV 25701 or donations to the local Red Cross Blood Bank in her memory.
