THELMA BERNICE RAMEY BERRY
(December 17, 1934 - April 4, 2016)


THELMA BERNICE RAMEY BERRY, 81, of Barboursville, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born December 17, 1934, to the late Genoa and Roy Ramey. She was also preceded in death by her husband Arden O'Neal Berry. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Ramey and Arnold Ramey; two sons, Ricky Berry and Tony Berry; one grandson, Larry Berry; and one granddaughter, Casey Berry. She is survived by one daughter, Sandie Miller of Barboursville; three sons, Arden (Alita) Berry of South Point, Ohio, Arnold (Lavada) Berry of Lexington, N.C., and John (Betty) Berry of Branchland, W.Va.; one sister, Zelma Hazelette of Pikeville, Ky.; and five brothers, Darrell Ramey (Kitty) of Franklin, N.C., Douglas Ramey of Ceredo, W.Va., Dexter (Hester) Ramey of Branchland, W.Va., Dwight Ramey (Phyllis) of Chesapeake, Ohio and John (Clara) Ramey of Columbus, Ohio. She had eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Special thanks to her daughter-in-law Ann Berry and Hospice of Huntington for all their help in our time of need. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with the Reverend David Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ramey Cemetery on Raccoon Creek. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
