Karen Darleen Smith
(May 28, 1941 - April 14, 2016)

Karen Darleen Smith, 74, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday April 17, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Rev. David Cardwell. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. She was born May 28, 1941 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Leonard Crank and Norma Baylous Crow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Melinda Hill of Barboursville, and Angela and Steven Conrad of Loris, SC; sister, Shirley and Phil Stevens of Flatwoods, KY; brother, Gary and Susan Burdette of Huntington; grandchildren, Jeremy and Dustin Hill of Barboursville, Josh Conrad and his wife, Erin of Loris, SC, Candace and Caitlin Conrad, of Loris, SC; great-grandchildren, Zachary Conrad, Liam Conrad and Emilynn Hill; and Brian McCallister who was like a son to Karen. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
