Obituary
Gene W.
Scott, 77, of
Huntington, joined his wife in
their Heavenly home on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Funeral
service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Beard Mortuary,
Huntington with Pastor Michael S. Chapman officiating.
Burial will follow in
Spring
Hill
Cemetery.
He was born August 27, 1929 in Mud Lick, KY, a son of the late
Sherman B. and Mary Jane Scott. He was also preceded in
death by his wife, Vivian Mae Scott and one brother, James Scott.
Mr. Scott was a member of
Southside
United
Methodist
Church, a faithful
employee of Mack & Dave’s for 40 years and a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by one son, G. Michael Scott of Monroe, NC; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Rose and Dennis Ernst of Eugene, OR and
Vivian and Harvey Lynch of Monroe, NC; one grandson, Mason C. Kincaid of
Little Falls, NJ; one granddaughter, Yolanda L. Guidi of Raleigh, NC; three
sisters, Mildred Hinerman, Melda Hinerman and Louella Gregg, all of
Orrville, OH. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday
at the mortuary.
