Obituary
Reda Mae Cremeans, 80, of
Huntington entered Heaven’s doors
on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at home. She was the
daughter of the late Homer and Ina Faulkner. She was
born April 7, 1927 in
Huntington.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Leo K. Cremeans in
1993, also a grandson, Shawn A. Thompson and a brother, Charles Faulkner.
She was retired from Kerr Glass and an avid Bingo player.
She is survived by three daughters, Teresa Cremeans, whom she shared
a home with, Cheryl “Sherry” Gibson of South Point, OH and Linda Nance of
Huntington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Rhonda Cremeans and
Leo “Butch” and Paula Cremeans all of Huntington; one sister, Norma Trippett
of Huntington who was her best friend and shopping buddy; two brothers and
sisters-in-law, Edward “Buddy” and Mary Lou Faulkner of Huntington and F.W.
“Willie” and Dorothy Faulkner of Tucson, AZ; nine grandchildren and nine
great grandchildren; a granddaughter, Courtney Cremeans and a great
granddaughter, Chloe Renee Cremeans whom she helped raise; several nieces
and nephews; very special best friends, LaDonna and Floyd Hunter of
Chesapeake, OH; and special friend, Penny Morrison of Huntington.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m.
at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Funeral service will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the mortuary.
Burial will follow at
Spring
Hill
Cemetery,
Huntington.
