Obituary

Althea Rose, 82, of Milton, WV went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Kim Stone officiating.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.  She was born March 18, 1925 in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late Doc and Wilda Stanley.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry O. Rose.  She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Fern Meadows and Judy Lynn and Douglas Fortner; four grandchildren, Christy Black, David (Valerie) Meadows, Jeremiah (Brittany) Clary, and Zebulun (Stephanie) Clary; nine great grandchildren, Matthew, Chelsie, Corey, Colt, Kiarra, Dalton, Cassidy, Zane, and Cameron.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, December 7, 2007 at Beard Mortuary.
