Norma Ruth
Meehling, 83, of
Huntington,
WV, passed away Monday,
December 24, 2007 at her residence. Funeral service will
be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Beard Mortuary,
Huntington, with Pastor Columbus Muncy officiating.
Burial will follow in
Woodmere
Memorial Park,
Huntington.
She was born July 13, 1924 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Robert and
Tamza Sowards. She was also preceded in death by her
husband, Lester “Buckshot” Meehling. She is survived by
five sons and four daughters-in-law, Frank and Kathy Meehling, Lester “Buck”
and Vickie Meehling, John and Peggy Maynard, Roger Meehling and Ronnie and
Sue Meehling; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Misty and Paul Workman,
Kim and Tim Butcher, Frank “Spank” II and Kelly Meehling, Brett Dial, Beth
Meehling, Lesley and Jason Baker, John and Ari Meehling, Chad Meehling,
Roger II and Amy Meehling and Ronnie II and Carrie Workman; 12 great
grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Friends may
call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 27th at the mortuary.
The family would like to thank special daughter-in-law, Sue Meehling
for her loving care.
