Obituary

MILDRED M. McSWEENEY, 89, of Huntington, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2007, in Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Earl Booth officiating. Burial will follow in Crooks Chapel Cemetery, Huntington. She was born October 26, 1918, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late James D. and Mary Jane Holley Esque. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paris McSweeney. She was Christian by faith. She is survived by one daughter, Eva Jane and Gorman Adkins of Huntington; two sons, Johnnie and Bonita McSweeney of Wayne and Paris and Diana McSweeney of Harmony, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at Beard Mortuary
