Obituary
Burton Harry Willet,
90, of
Huntington, passed away Friday,
October 05, 2007 in Hospice House of Huntington. A
memorial service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, October 8, 2007 at Beard
Mortuary with Mark Ayers, DVM officiating. Burial will
be at a later date. He was born December 5, 1916 in
Orchard Park,
NY a son of the late Harry and
Josephine Murphy Willet. He was also preceded in death
by his daughter, Noelle Smith. He was a graduate of
Michigan
State
University,
School of
Veterinary Medicine.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marjorie Fisher Willet;
daughter, Debra Perkins of Chesapeake, OH; step daughter, Gale Kelsey of
Huntington; grandchildren, Jennifer Smith and Christopher Perkins of
Chesapeake, OH, Scott Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kara (Jay) Rogers and
Jane (Jay) Lennon of Richmond,VA; two great grandchildren, Allyson and
Trevor Rogers; and his special cat, Sam. The family
requests donations be made to Hospice of Huntington or the animal charity of
one’s choice. Friends may visit with the family from
noon until 1 PM on Monday prior to the service.
