Obituary
Harley Herbert Cremeans, 79, of
Huntington went to be with the
Lord Sunday, July 20, 2008 in Hospice House of Huntington.
He was born November 12, 1928, a son of the late Jay H. and Myrtle
Wroten Cremeans. He was also preceded in death by his
wife, Leona L. Cremeans; two brothers, Ivan Cremeans and Bernard Cremeans;
and one sister, Mildred Hensley. He was a supervisor for
the City of
Huntington Sanitary Board with
29 years of service, retiring in 1991. He is survived by
one son and daughter-in-law, Harley, Jr. and Kim Cremeans of Barboursville;
four daughters, Linda Ward and her husband, Charlie of Rome, GA, Tamara
Carr-Shaver of NC, Sheri Jenkins of TN and Marcy Harrington of Baker, WV;
three brothers, Raymond Cremeans, Jay Cremeans and Russell Eugene Cremeans;
one sister, Fern Campbell; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren;
very special friend, Bev Deal and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beard
Mortuary, Huntington. The family would like to thank the
staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington for all their
care and support during his illness. In lieu of flowers,
the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Hospice of
Huntington.
