Obituary
David Burman Ashworth, 67, departed this life on October
28, 2008 to be with his God and join his family and many friends in that
pearly white city. David was born on May 7, 1941 in
Huntington,
WV to the late C. Burman and
Thelma Tincher Ashworth. David retired from Huntington
Alloys in 1996 after 30 years of service. David was
ordained into the ministry at the Church in the Valley,
Milton,
WV in 1998.
David served as minister of Outreach at the church for several years.
David is survived by his cousin, Billy McCallister, his wife, Sue and
grandson, Kenneth of Waldo, FL, along with a few cousins:
Bonnie Tincher of South Charleston, Bernard Tincher of Hurricane,
Carol Sue Tincher Ratliff of Hurricane and Patsy Tincher Anderson of
Pensacola, FL; and many dear and precious friends:
Clinton and Wanda Wilson, John and Connie Danforth, Bill and Virgie Ollie
and Barbara Maynard. Funeral services will be conducted
11 a.m. at the Church in the Valley,
Milton by his beloved friend and
mentor, Dr. Stan Maynard on Friday, October 31, 2008.
Burial will follow on the family plot in
Ridgelawn
Memorial Park,
Huntington.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Huntington is in charge of
