Obituary

Josephine L. Rice, 85, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville with Dr. Allen Reasons officiating.  She was born November 10, 1922 in Louisa, KY a daughter of the late William M.and Emmer Josephine Barker Miller.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Rice; brother, William Baines Miller.  She was retired from C & P Telephone Company with 42 ½ years of service and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Huntington.  She is survived by her sister, Roberta Lee Raines of Barboursville.  There will be no visitation.
