Reba Jean (Reynolds) Poole

Reba Jean Poole, 84, of Huntington, widow of Herman C. Poole, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born on February 3, 1926 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Johnson Reynolds. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Eugene Poole and Scott Calvin Poole; five sisters, Linda Reynolds, Juanita Halstead, Dorothy Barlow, Deleada Meadows, and Betty Jo Myers; and one brother, Everett “Sparky” Reynolds. She is survived by one daughter Sandra P. Maxey; one son, Charles Poole; five sisters, Danise Niday of Huntington, Norma (Bill) Reffitt of Huntington, Phyllis (Ted) Hazelett of Newark, OH, Donna (Kenneth) Sexton of South Point, OH, and Dana (Hershey) Carnes of Barboursville; two brothers, Rev. Herbert (Jo Ann) Reynolds of Brandywine, MD and Herman (Lola) Reynolds of West Hamlin; one sister-in-law, Velma Reynolds of Mooresville, IN; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl L. Poole of Chesapeake, OH; five grandchildren, Mark Poole, Kelly Jordan, Christina Kingery, Tara Love and Tiffani Bogar; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Todd Mills officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
