Lorna Jeanette Adkins, 80 of Huntington, WV passed away on Friday May 11, 2012 at her residence. Celebration of life will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. David Cartwright officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. until service time. She was born January 30, 1932 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Littleton and Lois Gill Pearson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Leta Henderson. She was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bobby Edward Adkins, two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Mike Booten of Murfreesboro, TN and Connie and John Priddy of Barboursville, WV; grandchildren, Brandon (April) Booten, Adam (Lane) Booten, Alex (Rachel) Booten and Garrett Priddy. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Norma Rowsey of Huntington and a brother-in-law, Johnny Henderson of Cocoa, Fl and several nieces and nephews. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Cross Roads United Methodist Church.
